The challenge is to build your own robot either wireless within the specified dimensions in order to achieve the maximum speed to beat other robots on the given track and reach the finishing line in minimum time. The robot must run on the given racetrack. The robot must start behind the starting mark and is considered to have crossed the finishing line if any part of the robot crosses it when the robot has completed a full lap of the course. Your robot must be manually/autonomously controlled, and it should be capable of traversing over different terrain and hurdles without going outside the track. Separate points will be awarded for overcoming the hurdles. The bot with the maximum cumulative points will win the race. The competition area has a special place defined for the robot’s operation (hereafter COMPETITION FIELD).

 Conduction of event is subjected to certain conditions. 

Conduction/withdrawal of event is at discrete power of organizer.

Incase of withdrawal of any event,  the  registration amount (if already paid) will be refunded.

Accommodation will be Provided upon request and will be chargeable on per day per person basis.


Rules and Regulations : 

  • The robot may be wired or wireless.
  • A team can consist of 1-3 candidates.
  • Participants have to arrange for adaptor and batteries.
  • Each member of the team must contain the identity card of respective institute.
  • No test practice will be allowed on the arena.
  • Team members will be allowed only three times to touch or reset their robots position during the run. However, this will lead to a time penalty and   timer will not stop during this course of action.
  • Unethical  behaviour  could lead to disqualification.
  • The Lane will be 30cm-40cm wide.


Judgement Criteria :

  • The competition is based on time trial system.
  • The robot will be judged on basis of time to complete the track and number of check points cleared.
  • (There will be certain obstacles in the race track which will try to slow down the robot).       
  • This is racing event, fastest and most balanced robot will win.
  • Certificate of Participation will be given to all the teams that will participate in the event, but not to the teams which get disqualified due to disobeying any of the competition rules.

Rs 250/- per team (for team maximum 3 students are allowed)
